Congratulations! You’ve joined a Talent Community!¬†

You’re one step closer to living the career you’ll love.

Not sure what to do next?

Here are some LiveHire tips and reminders on what to focus on next, to ensure the best possible job hunting outcome.

  1. Make sure your profile is completed to 100%

Want to improve your chances of being noticed and show off your skills, experience and availability? Let your profile reach it’s full 100% potential and be sure to be at the top of the talent search! Learn¬†how¬†here.

  2. Remember, there may be roles that are available and suited to you, but not yet advertised!

It may look like the company whose Talent Community you joined doesn’t have any open roles that suit you, but that may just be because they haven’t yet advertised the role, or they aren’t choosing to. This is the beauty of proactive recruitment,¬†you never know what’s going to happen and which company is looking for a candidate just like yourself. Proactive recruitment is when recruiters look in their Talent Community at people who have expressed an interest in working for their company, even before the job was available. It’s like being the first in line for exclusive jobs.¬†

  3. Gain a better understanding of how companies use LiveHire to find the best talent in their Talent Community.

By understanding¬†how companies best use LiveHire, you will gain a more thorough understanding of why it’s important to complete your profile to 100%, and also understand which information is most important. This will be helpful not only now, but also in the future. Learn more here.

  4. Make sure your profile is up to date with accurate contact details, availability and location.

You may have completed your profile to 100%, but is the information accurate? Writing down the wrong telephone number could be detrimental to your job hunting process! Be sure to double check this important information.
